Arabella Rustico born in Mazara del Vallo (Sicily, Italy) on 11/02/2000. Double bass player and bass player, she begin her musical journey at the age of 9 by picking up her first guitar, hoping that soon she would finally learn her beloved Beatles songs.
The love for jazz arrives later, or rather resurfaces, when she begins her double bass studies with master Fabio Crescente and rediscovers the sweet sounds that remind her of the only jazz smattering of her childhood: a record by Joao Gilberto.
She is currently studying jazz double bass at the Palermo Conservatory under the guidance of master Giuseppe Costa. She attended clinics and masterclasses directed by world famous artists such as Ron Carter and Dario Deidda.
She plays at the Sicilian Jazz Youth Orchestra of the Brass Group (BYJO) and performs with a young mazarese trio "Arabella & the Cheeky Chaps" (former EBA trio) with which she has won several national awards. She collaborate with musicians likes Lino Patruno, Paulus Schäfer and Nicola Giammarinaro.
Her videos are very popular, enough to be shared by pages like Scott Bass Lessons, Coffee Music, SlaPBass BR, Baixonatural, The Dexter Gordon Society, Guitarave, etc ...
In February 2021 she was a guest of the San Bernardo Jazz Festival.
