Roberto de Rosa
Roberto De Rosa was born and raised in Capua, a little town in the south of Italy, where his career began as a teenager playing bass in local bands. Thanks to his ability to play any music genre, he was soon included in many different bands, starting his path as a session musician. Since 2011 he is one of the most talented bass students of Dario Deidda.
Roberto has two graduation in jazz bass, in the Conservatory of Naples and Salerno. He features many different collaborations with important Italian artists in pop and jazz fields, such as Giulia Luzi, Valentina Stella, Tommaso Primo, Tony Esposito, Pietro Condorelli, Peppino di Capri, Franco Ricciardi, Ciccio Merolla, Mr.Hyde, Ivan Granatino Marco Zurzolo, Mariano Barba, Gianni d'Argenzio, Coro giovanile del Teatro San Carlo, RFC, Luciano de Fortuna, Emilio Carrino, Vincenzo Adelini Lino Pariota, Davide Costagliola, Mariano Bellopede, Saba Anglana, Arcangelo Michele Caso, Pino Fusco, Giulio Martino.
He is also known on the web for his videos in split screen while playing with many different web phenomena.
Roberto uses Rigotti Cables, GrBass amps, Sansone Strings, Camarota basses and Mama pickups.
