Effects patch

100% hand-assembled, by me, one by one;

– Hand-wound conductor;

– Made from Italian raw materials;

– Finished with Italian handcrafted connectors.

Effect patches perform an important and insidious job. They are the connection paths between different pedals, or between different devices at the desk, and carry the effected signal along the chain. Each patch is a single signal cable, with all its own characteristics.

Over the years, the various manufacturers have assembled patches using the normal signal cable that is simply shorter; some have distinguished themselves by proposing systems using connectors that take up little space and ensure ease of assembly.

I tried to do something new and, if possible, braver.

Since the patch cable by nature does not have to be moved much, and is often of limited length, I decided that I would construct its conductor by hand. So not a simple commercial or industrial cable ‘cut short’, but the result of assembling conductors one by one by hand designed to ensure the best possible sound response.

Each patch is therefore a unique piece, the result of time and patient handwork, designed and manufactured with unique and unrepeatable characteristics.

Inside we find eight solidcore copper conductors, a shield made of solid aluminium foil, all assembled in a semi-balanced geometry. Notable is the total absence of PVC.

The brazing follows the same restrictive rules as my other interconnects, the connectors are gold-plated (other finishes are available on request).

Their sound is precise and dynamic, suitable for the demanding musician. They keep the signal intact as much as possible, avoiding smearing and distortion at the extremes of the band, for results of great sonic impact.
